How Can I Get Connected?
A Compelling community
Community that matters is community built by God. It is community that happens when Christians grow in their understanding of God's grace and demonstrate that grace by loving people as God loves them.
At whatever stage you find yourself, whether married, single, divorced, widowed, student, young professional, young parent, sandwiched, empty nester or retiree, Grace Bible Church has a place for you to grow in your faith, serve others and find friendships that last.
Whether you connect in a class, care group or ministry our desire is to help you become vitally connected and committed to others who will come alongside you in a discipling relationship.
Care Groups
MONTHLY CARE GROUPS. A vital part of our ministry focuses on care groups that meet in homes on the third Sunday of each month. They are an opportunity to learn and fellowship together with families from various life stages. During the time together, the leader will facilitate discussion based on material from the previous week's Sunday sermon with the goal of applying practical biblical lessons for life.
Adult Groups
SUNDAY CLASSES. Every Sunday we provide numerous classes for adults that run for three to four months at a time. Over time these classes bring together people who build friendships and bonds that can extend outside the church building. The classes are led by experienced teachers who deepen our understanding of God's Word and how we live the truths we learn as salt and light in our communities and world.
SOJOURNERS. For those 50 and older (singles, couples, married, widowed). With so much emphasis put on youth in our culture it is easy to feel set aside or unwanted in society - even in the church. But Scripture praises the "gray headed" and encourages them to be the mentors and disciplers of the next generation. This group keeps sojourners engaged and motivated in leadership, ministry, teaching and serving.
Men - The men’s ministry holds a breakfast the first Saturday of every month, during which our men have the opportunity to strengthen friendships with their brothers in Christ, pray for each other, and hear a challenging message from one of the men in our church. Other activities are planned throughout the year as well.
Ladies - Opportunities for our ladies to cultivate relationships with each other abound, as they gather for special events throughout the year, centered on Bible studies, church fellowships, and bridal and baby showers. The ladies also meet twice monthly for prayer. Participation in these events is a sure way to get to know your sisters at Grace, and to grow in the knowledge of God together. Prayer and a charge to the bride or new mother are included in our church showers, as our ladies support and encourage each other through life changes.
College and Career - Dynamic discussion accompanying the study of God’s word with our college and career group is held every Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
