"Colossians"
The church at Colossae was under attack from false teachers who were impugning the deity of Jesus by teaching that He was not actually God. The apostles knew that the nature of Jesus Christ as Creator and Redeemer was nonnegotiable, so Paul wrote to the Colossians so they would know God in His greatness and glory, rather than in the deficient view they were hearing. This important New Testament letter is as important to us today as when it was written..
