Sunday Night Seminars - How to Disagree Agreeably

"How To Disagree Agreeably"

No one wants to be called a hateful bigot, but disagreement is a sure thing in a world with so many ideas and over 7 billion perspectives. Is it even possible to disagree without being divisive? We must recognize the distinction between substance and form, for we are called by Jesus to be wise as serpent yet harmless as doves. It is time for God’s people – the church – to shine in the darkness where disagreement is equal to hate.  Different ideas are not about winning arguments and protecting one’s level of comfort. Let us explore ways to graciously build bridges to understand another with grace and truth. Our conversations are to be seasoned with salt to impart grace to the hearer.
