Jesus came to our world on mission then he returned to the Father. He lived and worked here only to please his Father and he did so with his Father’s authority. His most notable and important work was his self-sacrifice for our redemption and reconciliation to God. But in the day-to-day His approach was conversation, doing good and bold compassion – often around food.  So, it follows that we, as follower of Jesus, should reach out in the same fashion as our Savior.  Our belonging is not here; we are passing through on mission. May our transient tenancy here reflect that of our Master’s.
